The market is not letting up at all, and some of the craziest prices are being paid in Victoria's most popular neighbourhoods.  Hear are this weeks TOP THREE CRAZY  buys!

3.   A single family residence in the Lambrick Park area of Saanich East listed at $999,888.  SOLD in 34 days for a whopping $1,190,000  (19% above list price). The home is 2685 s.f. which inturn amounts to $443/s.f.

2. Located in Fairfield, this 1974, 3 bed, 2 bath home sold for $851,000. Now, you might be thinking, " Yeah, but it's Fairfield!".  True it is Fairfield... this home was recently renovated, and listed at $699,000.  It lasted a mere 4 days on the market and sold for 21.75% above list.

1.  This one takes the cake! Located in Gordon Head (seconds from UVic), this 1964 built home (with original hardwood floors and matching veneer wall paneling) was listed at $890,000 and SOLD for an insane $1,110,000.  The real kicker is that it sold in only 5 days ( a mere 25% above list). Once again proving that Universtiy District reigns supreme!

It doesn't look like this market will be changing for quite some time. So, tune in for more market update in my future blogs.
